Industrial Monmouthshire - The Leftovers
and
Transport and Industry - The Leftovers
now all the Leftovers scraped onto one plate !!
British, Cornish Engine house
An enforced change of Internet Service Provider has made me think about combining the two sites - the original 'Industrial Monmouthshire' site was a freebie and too small to host many photos but it was free.... When 'Fotopic' collapsed I needed a new home for 'Transport and Industry' so treated myself to a paid host. It appeared to be a lot of work to replicate one site on the other so I didn't - but now seems a good opportunity to try. It may not work as seamlessly as I would like, so if you find something doesn't do what you expected, please let me know and I'll put them right.

So what have we got here, then?

INDUSTRIAL MONMOUTHSHIRE

Potted histories, potted maps and potted notes on all the places I've visited and quite a few I haven't yet along with Grid References so that you can visit them too.

Loads of photos of Monmouthshire's Leftovers taken over the past few years with a few historical views for good value.

TRANSPORT AND INDUSTRY

These photo galleries were once on the deceased 'Fotopic' website, now sunk without trace,
as 'Transport and Industry - The Leftovers'.
I will add all the old galleries (and some new ones) as time ticks by.

This is your Health and Safety Officer speaking

Old industrial sites are extremely dangerous - End of story.

If you do go exploring, you will break your neck falling off crumbling walls, get crushed under collapsing beams and ceilings, choke in toxic air, drown in stagnant water, plunge for ever down bottomless pits or disappear, only to be found years later after 95% weight loss. Unless you're extremely careful. Tell someone where you're going or, better still, take a friend. If you don't know what you're doing, please don't do it. I want you to enjoy our heritage, not be it's victim.
